  1. Definitely not nice to leave the cats outside in the winter! Smoothman is nice to feed them. But he is a big man too and maybe he should go and lock her out instead. Your new friend, Estorbo is sweet and cuddly.

  3. This makes me so angry - why do people have animals if they can't care for them properly? No amount of rushing to go out excuses the lack of a hasty message pushed through a kind neighbour's letterbox.

  4. Does that woman deserve to have cats? No! And that last photo is a KILLER!

  5. You look so happy snuggled up to your bunny rabbit. But that neighbor woman has questionable parenting skills.

Storbito, you look so cosy with your new friend all snuggled up. Your Papa is very special. I am so touched that he fed the cold and hungry kitties. And I'm happy that he took the neighbor women to task. Does she read your blog? I am giving her a hard look right now.

  7. Those poor cold and hungry cads. How does someone rush around so much and forget their animals? Unforgivable, even if she did give you a wonderful new gift.
Oh the Smoothman captures you so well. You look very very happy and snuggled in with your new friend. You are a lucky cad for sure.

  8. Can we call this neighbor a liar? Rushing out in the morning explains why they were still outside, but if you heard them crying all night, why didn't she get out of bed and let them in? I'm just saying ...

  9. I love the Smoothman for being so good to those kitties. Perhaps the lady has learned her lesson and won't lock her kitties out in the cold again. It was berber nice of her to get that fabulous rabbit for you.

  10. From living with cats I know that warmth comes just about top of the list of their needs and locking them out in the winter would make me phone what we call in Scotland "the cruelty" - ie the animal rescue. Not easy when it's a neighbour, but the cats come first.

  11. From the Wooman: Vince did say that the ladycat's fur, when he felt it, was not cold, it felt warm, so they were at least on a protected terrace. And, as he points out, feral cats have to deal with this all the time. That said, I remain deeply unimpressed.

  12. Dios mio, indeed! Priorities, people! Pet welfare comes first, even when the humans are in a rush. It was good of you to share your dayeen, dayoud pelleds with the cold, starving neighbor cads, hemano. They aren't starving no mas and you got a cadnip bunny ... I'd say that's a good outcome.
