Estorbo, I wish I could but I am far, far away on the other side of the country. There will be someone very nice to take good care of you. xo
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful offer, Estorbo, and I believe I could offer you suitable experience, having looked after my beloved Rupert for 17 years and 11 months. He had a 'delicate' system (or just ate rubbish stuff he found in the garden?). Accidents from the front, accidents from the rear? I cleaned.
ReplyDeleteBut I am too far away, even though I would love to travel to New York, and to meet you. It would be the most expensive cat-sitting trip ever.
I am sure you will find a lovely person who will take care of you, on behalf of us all.
Estorbo, I would do it if I could. But I have a prior engagement.Damn!
ReplyDeleteDear Estorbo, Wish I lived near you, I would present my credentials to your Wooman and
ReplyDeletebehappy to take good care of you, like I take good care of my sweet Cat Boys, Tizzy and Federico Feliney.
I hope it all works out and you al have a very happy Thanksgiving.
Someone will be very lucky to stay with you, Estorbo. I don't know anyone in New York except you so I cannot help. Does the vet office keep a list of such capable people? Or do you have pet stores in Brooklyn? Another place to check. Good Luck.
ReplyDeleteI yam so yealous !! of the lucky person who gets to hang with you in the best borough in the world. One of these times ... I will be your cad seeder. xo Susan & les chats trois de Rue LeNoire
ReplyDeleteMe, too. Have previous plans or would volunteer in a second. Someone will be available and will show you the love and respect you deserve.
ReplyDeleteJust finished making reservations for Scruffy. It's going to cost more than the vacation! Extra $9 per day for play time; extra for giving medication; extra for providing his own food; extra for holiday weekend. Must have seen vet in last 3 months. Written proof of all shots up to date. Pick up after 12 noon costs extra day...etc. etc. I think I'll go in to the cat sitter business!! Hope you find someone who cares more about you than the money! (Last time I go to this kennels! It's under new ownership and I think they want to make money fast.)
ReplyDeleteThat was a pretty good advertisement, I think. Tells it like it is, no fancy promises that turn out to disappoint. Just such a pity I am so far away and have cleaning/spoiling/feeding/medicating duties of my own to carry out.....
ReplyDeleteIf only California weren't so far from Brooklyn!! If your terrific ad doesn't turn anyone up, I second the suggestion to check with your vet. We want only the best for you, sweetie.
ReplyDeleteI weesh ju lorck een jur ques' por seempateeco cadseeder. Eef I leeve' closhair woul' be happy to helb as I orlso do thees' por sorm friens (Rocky y Boots)when their hoomans trabel.
ReplyDeleteLooks like there is a beeeg queue to take care of you, but I will join it anyway. It'll give me time to save up for the flight from England :)
