  2. I just realized what Bobo must look like to strangers who see him go by... they must shake their head at pet owners who antropomorphize their animals to the extent of dressing a cat with a polo shirt... rotfl

  8. Estorbo you've been such a help to me, and especially to little Georgette, a new kitten who's moved into my house and is letting me stay here too (I am a human). She has licked herself so badly on her back that it's raw and red. She has a sister, Lucy, who seems fine and neither seems to have fleas. I've always admired your little shirts and jackets and think you look so adorable in them. Your humans and your blog visitors have talked about their vet experiences (steroids, antibiotics, valerian, etc etc) and the consensus seems to be this: it will go away....eventually. Meanwhile try to keep it from getting infected. I've been dabbing the spot with vaseline which seems to help. Next on the list of noninvasive, nonchemical, non-trip-to-the-big-scary-vet* cures is to get Georgette a little shirt like yours. Thank your humans for providing me with all this info. I would introduce you to Georgette but she's way way way too young for you.

*I tried to get a vet appt today and the next available date is a week away! I made the appt but, hell, I can get an appt with my human doctor sooner than that. Maybe that's what I should do: take Georgette to a human doctor...

  9. Leecky leecky update:

Le Chat's shoulder patches are growing some nice black hair, and are no longer raw. He does lick them as soon as the shirt is off, but danger has passed. The problem is he seems to itch - he scratches with his back feet, and so I keep his claws very trimmed. Scratches are what started it all off.

Tummy spot is slower to heal as he can reach it, hence the longer shirt.

I still don't feed him mango, just in case, and his begging for it breaks my heart, so I eat mango when he's not looking or smelling. Which is never.

Ali G - the Wooman took these pics with a Canon SD880. The smooth man has a Canon 7D

Pam J - I recommend the shirt - but cut space under the arms.
